Still Planning

Paid for the flight and cruise. Now I am watching the value of the Canadian dollar and the Euro and trying to decide if I should buy some Euros now or wait a bit longer. Unfortunately, when the Euro drops the Canadian dollar drops!

I'm also checking out Apps for my iphone that might come in handy. I've downloaded itranslate and world maps. Since using Telus data plan outside of North America is out of the question and I still don't feel comfortable unlocking my 3GS, I will need to rely on WiFi hotspots.

Making plans for my upcoming trip to Greece.  Started this blog to keep a record of my trip and keep our family and friends up to date on our travels.

 

I decided to tag along on this trip that Don had been planning for quite a while it seems.  He was putting the invite out since last Thanksgiving to get some travel companions.  A few people seemed interested but I am the only one that took the plunge and have decided to go.

 

We have done most of our booking...flight, cruise, hotels...now I am starting this blog so we have a place to post pictures and messages!

29 Days To Go

Well I managed to lose my iPhone on Saturday so I'm pretty down. I am now trying to get a new one and get back on track with all my apps! Problems with Israel in the news today so we're hoping that doesn't interfere too much with our plans.

Planning a Trip to Greece!

Authors Note:  One of my great adventures was taken in 2010 with my good friend Don Drury. This was my first attempt to keep a real travel blog and it was created on a Google Site. Don was also an avid traveller and a terrific blogger in his own right. Sadly, he passed away suddenly last year.  I am now trying to migrate the blog we kept over to this site.
